Renault UK Clio Cup: Tom Butler #55

About Renault UK Clio Cup

Closer than ever to touring car performance, the Renault UK Clio Cup is the proving ground for the BTCC and FIA World Touring Car Championship stars of the future, as well as those drivers eyeing professional careers in sports car and GT racing.

#RacingforHeroes driver Josh Files and Josh Cook have both seen extreme success in this championship in recent years, with championship victory taken by Files in 2013 and Josh Cook narrowly missing a similar crowning in 2014 ending the season in P2.

About Tom Butler

Tom is one of our less experienced developing drivers, who has only two years of professional racing under his belt. Although lacking in experience, Tom’s raw talent is demonstrated by taking second place in his first years racing competing the MG Trophy, racing a MGZR 160. Tom took a big jump in 2013 and entered the world of Renault Sport, competing in the Michelin Clio Cup Race Series.

Tom’s week activities are based working for the family business as a CAD design engineer within the railway safety sector.
